MPLS is currently in development. This page documents the planned capabilities.

MPLS configuration for label switching, traffic engineering, and segment routing. osvbng uses FRR as the control plane and VPP as the dataplane.

Planned Capabilities

• LDP — Label Distribution Protocol for automatic label assignment and distribution
• Segment Routing (IS-IS) — Segment Routing with IS-IS as per RFC 8667
• SRv6 — Segment Routing over IPv6
